If instead of copying the chart by clicking on it I were to select the area in excel that has the chart on it along with some text in cells from the same area, I would have the same font issues in PowerPoint. If I update the link (File>Edit Links to Files>Update Now) the font changes slightly: still fuzzyĪnd not its original shape, but now the font is even darker. In the "Paste Special" Dialogue Box I click on "Paste link" (underneath "As:" I have only one choice: "Microsoft Excel Chart Object")Īt this point, if I print (or create a PDF) the PowerPoint page with the pie chart, the font appears distorted (a bit fuzzy, darker and not its original shape).In PowerPoint I click on "Home", then "Paste", then "Paste Special".In Excel I select the pie chart by clicking on it once. ![]() ![]() This is step by step how I paste-link a pie chart from Excel to Poweroint: I am on a Windows 7 Operating System, using Microsoft Office 2010.
